parkway running from the end ofFellsway East inStoneham, Massachusetts , USA throughMelrose, Massachusetts and ending inSaugus, Massachusetts atUS Route 1 .The Parkway was constructed in the 1930s and runs along the path of several former Melrose streets including Hamilton Road, Perkins Street, and Clifford Street. The parkway cuts across Ell Pond Park and is praised for its mature tree lined portion on the Melrose, Stoneham line forming a "great" canopy. The parkway was added to the
National Register of Historic Places onMay 9 ,2003 along with the rest of the Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston.References
