St. Lawrence College is a community college. It has three campuses in Brockville (1970), Cornwall (1968) and Kingston (founded September 1969), Ontario.

History

St. Lawrence College was established during the formation of Ontario’s college system in 1967. Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology were established on May 21, 1965. It is on a Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology.The school was founded in 1967 as part of a provincial initiative to create many such institutions to provide career-oriented diploma and certificate courses, as well as continuing education programs to Ontario communities.

Programs

The College has approximately 5,000 full-time students and 20,000 part-time registrants in over 80 academic programs and employs approximately 1,000 full and part-time staff.

St. Lawrence College has received accreditation to offer Baccalaureate Degree programs in the following areas: Behavioural Psychology, Bachelor of Business Administration and Nursing.

Other recently launched programs include: Music Theatre Performance, Wind Turbine Technician, Energy Systems Engineering, Hospitality Management, Culinary Management, Civil Engineering, and more.
