Indiana ,United States . The population was 1,113 at the 2000 census. The town was founded in 1907 around the Grabill family home. Today it is known for its antique stores and is surrounded byAmish farms. Amish families regularly pass through the town in their black horse-drawn buggies and they sometimes patronize Grabill businesses. An incorporated town, Grabill has two community parks within the corporate limits.Geography

As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 1,113 people, 420 households, and 307 families residing in the town. Thepopulation density was 1,805.1 people per square mile (693.1/km²). There were 442 housing units at an average density of 716.9/sq mi (275.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.65% White, 0.18% Native American, 0.27% Asian, 0.09% from other races, and 0.81% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.99% of the population.There were 420 households out of which 45.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.6% were married couples living together, 12.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.9% were non-families. 24.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 3.19.
In the town the population was spread out with 32.3% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 33.8% from 25 to 44, 17.3% from 45 to 64, and 9.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 92.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.8 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $42,240, and the median income for a family was $48,500. Males had a median income of $36,293 versus $24,688 for females. The
