This is a list of minor characters in the fictional "Star Wars" universe who are part of the Rebel Alliance.

Antilles, Raymus

Captain Raymus Antilles was a prince of Alderaan and captain of the "Tantive IV", Senator Bail Organa's personal ship. He was the son of former Senator Bail Antilles.

During the Galactic Empire's rise to power, Antilles served the Royal Alderaan Civil Fleet under Organa. Following the execution of Order 66, Antilles helped Organa locate Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. Antilles transported them to Coruscant and later ferried Yoda and Organa to the medical center on Polis Massa where Padmé Amidala gave birth to twins, Leia and Luke. Organa ordered Antilles to wipe C-3PO's memory to preserve the truth of their parentage.

Over the ensuing nineteen years, Antilles continued to fight for the fledgling Rebel Alliance. He personally destroyed six Imperial shipyards orbiting Kuat and participated in the mission which intercepted plans for the Death Star.

During the Battle over Tatooine, Darth Vader and his elite 501st stormtroopers captured Antilles and seized the "Tantive IV". When Antilles refused to reveal the location of the Death Star plans, claiming that the "Tantive IV" was on a simple diplomatic mission, Darth Vader strangled him to death.

Raymus Antilles is of no relation to Wedge Antilles despite sharing the surname.

Bruckman

Bruckman is a Correlian male who served the Rebellion as a sergeant during the Galactic Civil War. He was assigned to be a point man for General Han Solo's strike team during the Battle of Endor.

Cracken, Airen

General Airen Cracken (born 50 BBY) is the head of Alliance Intelligence and the father of Rogue Squadron pilot Pash Cracken. On his homeworld of Contruum he formed "Cracken's Crew" to sabotage the Imperial occupation force. He later joined the Rebel Alliance where he utilized his skills to direct the special forces. He eventually was promoted to the rank of general around the time of the Battle of Endor. Later General Cracken would become the New Republic's Intelligence director commanding all "official" intelligence operations.
Cracken was in charge of Rogue Squadrons mission to Coruscant in advance of the invasion fleet. His agents were already on the planet to assist the Squadron as necessary (his son, Pash was with the group) and had a firm grip of the situation.

He was aware of the presence of a spy amongst Rogue Squadron, however he knew that it was not Tycho Celchu, who was suspected of killing Corran Horn (Horn was presumed dead at the time). Cracken allowed Celchu's trial to go on so that Director of Imperial Intelligence Ysanne Isard would continue using her spy, thinking that the New Republic was convinced of the accusations against Captain Celchu. While Isard was preoccupied with the trial, Alliance Intelligence was able to accomplish many vital operations that otherwise would have been compromised. He was still active even into the time of the Yuuzhan Vong war, even though by then he was in his seventies.

He has been described as a "mechanical genius" who discovered unorthodox new ways for the Alliance to use its limited resources. While investigating the Cavrilhu Pirates' base in an asteroid belt, Skywalker rigged his blaster charge to explode- a technique that he learned from Cracken.

Airen Cracken appears in the novels "Rogue Squadron" , "Bacta War", "The Krytos Trap", "Starfighters of Adumar", and "Wraith Squadron" in Michael A. Stackpole and Aaron Allston's . Cracken, Pash

Pash Cracken is the son of General Airen Cracken, an Alliance war hero and eventual head of Alliance Intelligence.

Pash did not quite share his father's talent for espionage, but he was a very good pilot, so the elder Cracken invented a false identity for him, and he was accepted to the Imperial Academy on Vensenor. Shortly after graduation, he and his entire fighter wing of 72 starfighters defected to the Rebel Alliance, destroying a Star Destroyer in the process (no mean feat for TIE Fighters). Later, with the Alliance, he led one of the first A-Wing squadrons in the Rebel fleet.

Some time after the Battle of Endor, Captain Cracken joined the Rogue Squadron under Wedge Antilles and flew as Rogue 4. After Corran Horn's escape from Lusankya and the subsequent mass resignation of Rogue Squadron (which he did not join, at Wedge's request), he returned to his previous A-Wing squadron.

Pash at one point invented a ruse (disguised as a dogfighting maneuver) known as the "Cracken Twist" (when announced, it served as a signal to disguise a communicated hyperspace vector by changing a certain digit by a certain amount).

During the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy, Pash Cracken was captured and imprisoned in an internment facility on Selvaris. When rescued by Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo, they ended up being sent to Caluula to destroy a yammosk the Vong had stationed there.

Crynyd, Arvel

Arvel Crynyd was Green Leader at the Battle of Endor. Green Squadron was a fighter group that consisted of A-Wings and X-Wings. Towards the end of the battle his A-Wing was hit by Imperial fire and began to careen out of control. In his last moments, Crynyd managed to steer his fighter directly into the bridge of the "Executor", the flagship of the Empire's fleet, killing himself and Admiral Piett as well as the entire command crew and operations staff on the bridge. This act, coupled with the inability of crews to bring the backup bridge operational, led to the "Executor" to fly out of control and be pulled into the gravity field of the second Death Star resulting in its destruction, thereby stripping the Imperial fleet of its flagship as well as thousands of the Empire's best and brightest officers. After the Battle of Endor he was given the Rebel Legion of Merit posthumously, the highest medal given by the Rebellion/New Republic, the same medals that were given to Luke Skywalker and Han Solo after the Battle of Yavin.

A year later the Rebels captured an Imperial Star Destroyer at the Battle of Milagro and renamed it the "Crynyd" after him. He is also a playable Character in one of the unlockable levels in the video game

Dantels, Nera

Nera Dantels is a female smuggler who helped the Rebel Alliance. Her ship is the Starduster.She assisted the members of Red Squadron secure a group of R2-Series Astromech droids just before the Battle of Yavin. She had a romantic relationship with Biggs Darklighter before his death at the Battle of Yavin.;References

Biggs Darklighter appears in the movie "". He is Luke Skywalker's childhood friend.

Biggs first appears just prior to the Battle of Yavin. In that battle, Biggs pilots his own X-wing, fighting along with Luke and the rest of the rebels. While covering Luke's approach to the Death Star's exhaust port, Biggs is killed when his X-wing is destroyed by Darth Vader.

Most scenes including Biggs were cut from the 1977 (and 1997) versions of the film. These scenes emphasize Luke's feeling of isolation on Tatooine, as Biggs is slightly older and worldly, and has escaped from the small planet to better himself. Although Biggs does not say it directly, he hints he has been accepted into the Rebel Alliance. These deleted scenes contribute to what is now known as the Anchorhead Story of Star Wars.

Derlin, Bren

Bren Derlin was a Rebel Alliance field officer assigned to the Rebel base on Hoth around the time of the Battle of Hoth. When Han Solo and Luke Skywalker were stranded in a blizzard, Derlin was the one to inform Princess Leia that the shield doors to Echo Base had to be closed for the night.

He survived Hoth and also fought at Endor, and subsequently served in New Republic Intelligence; he was promoted to Colonel before the Thrawn Offensive. By the time of the Yevetha Crisis he was a Brigadier General.

As portrayed by John Ratzenberger, the character only appears in The Empire Strikes Back. However, the NPR radio adaptation of Return of the Jedi gives him a role, as the leader of the team of Rebel troops that Han Solo brings to Endor, and, more specifically, as the one who disguises himself as a stormtrooper to cover Solo's team as they enter the Imperial bunker.

Derlin appears on a Star Wars trading card, where it is noted that "at the Mos Eisley Cantina, everybody knows his name," a reference to Cliff Clavin the mailman, John Ratzenberger's character from Cheers.

Dodonna, Jan

Jan Dodonna, one of the first Generals in the Rebellion's military, appeared in "", played by Alex McCrindle. Like Han Solo, Dodonna was Corellian. He was a master of strategy who had served in the Old Republic, and was a very skilled Star Destroyer captain during the Clone Wars; he was known for having revolutionized modern siege warfare. When the Republic became the Empire, Dodonna left, eventually joining the Rebellion after the Emperor ordered his death. With plans brought to him by Princess Leia and downloaded from R2-D2, Dodonna helped plan the attack on the Death Star. The data showed that the defenses of the Death Star were built around large scale attacks. He found that thermal exhaust ports on the station were vulnerable, and designed the starfighter assault that destroyed the Death Star. In the film, he is the one who conducts the briefing.

Dodonna was not seen in any later film. According to the Expanded Universe fiction, he was believed killed during the evacuation of Yavin, but in truth he had been captured by Imperial forces. He was eventually sent to Lusankya, where the Imperials attempted to turn him into a sleeper agent. Dodonna spent some years in Imperial captivity, but Rogue Squadron eventually rescued all the Lusankya prisoners. From then on, Dodonna served on the New Republic council, advising the Republic in military matters with counterparts such as Adar Tallon, Pashna Starkiller, or Vanden Willard; this "Gray cadre"'s advice would prove invaluable during the events of Dark Empire and the Battle of Mon Calamari.

Behind-the-scenes information at [http://www.starwars.com www.starwars.com] reveals that Dodonna's convoluted history was the result of unanticipated continuity errors: one "Star Wars" comic strip lists him as dead, but another, taking place some time later, depicts him alive and serving, and a roleplaying game sourcebook describes him as being captured at Yavin 4. Author Michael Stackpole managed to thread all three sources together via Lusankya.

Dodonna was most likely a descendant of a much earlier Dodonna, Admiral Forn Dodonna, who commands the Republic fleet against the Sith in the 2003 video game "".

Dodonna's name may have been inspired by Dodona Manor, the home of 1953 Nobel Peace Prize winner George C. Marshall, who served as United States Army chief of staff during World War II and as Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense under President Harry S. Truman; alternatively, he could have been named after Dodona, the oracle of Zeus.

A minor character in Final Fantasy VIII was named Dodonna after the Star Wars character, but only in the Japanese version. In the English version, his name was changed to Martine.

Perhaps coincidentally, General Dodonna bears a very strong resemblance to Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Dodonna is the first character in the series to deliver the famous line, "May the Force be with you," beating Han Solo to the punch by about five minutes.

Dodonna, Vrad

Vrad Dodonna is the son of Rebel Alliance General Jan Dodonna. During an attack on Darth Vader's new Super Star Destroyer "Executor" he first retreated. However after he was fired upon he made up for his cowardice by making a suicide run and rammed his ship into the "Executor". This allowed Han Solo to disable the ship from the rear. However, in the end the Rebellion lost one of it best pilots. Vrad Dodonna appears in the "Classic Star Wars" comics. However, those comics state that Luke took over the position of Commander after Vrad's death. This contradicts The Empire Strikes Back radio dramatization which reveals that Luke assumed the title after Commander Narra died during the battle of Derra IV.

Dreis, Garven

During the Clone Wars, Garven Dreis served in the Rarefied Air Cavalry, where he fought alongside Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Virujansi. Years later, he led Red Squadron against the Death Star in the Battle of Yavin. His attack run proved successful, but the proton torpedoes missed the opening of the exhaust port just impacting on the surface. Ironically, he was shot down by Darth Vader, and killed when his X-wing crashed into the battle station's surface.

Following the Battle of Yavin, Dreis's position as Red Leader would be filled by Commander Narra, who would himself be killed in the Battle of Derra IV.

Luke Skywalker would inherit the Squadron, renaming it Rogue Squadron, and led them until the Battle of Endor, where he was succeeded as Rogue Leader by Wedge Antilles, who renamed the squadron Red Squadron in honor of Dreis and the others who died in the attack on the first Death Star.

Garn, Olin

Olin Garn is a Rebel pilot who aids Ace Azzameen when he first joins the Rebel Alliance. He is believed to have had relationships with Aeron Azzameen. He is not related to Ferus Olin.

Gray Wing pilots

Gray Wing was one of the four main starfighter groups at the Battle of Endor. It consisted of Y-Wings and was led by Colonel Horton Salm. It suffered quick and heavy casualties. Several Y-wing pilots are seen during the briefing aboard "Home One" but only a few have been identified
Lieutenant Telsij flew a Y-Wing in Grey Wing during the Battle of Endor. His comm-unit designation was Grey Two. He is the pilot that says "There's too many of them" after the Rebel fleet is inundated with TIEs, after they realize that "It's a trap!" It's listed that he did survive the battle and was said to have joined Defender wing shortly afterward.
Decipher identified this Asian-looking Y-wing pilot as Lt. Telsij in their Death Star II series of their Star Wars Customizable Card Game.
Lieutenant J'ef Hsu was a Y-Wing pilot who flew with Grey Wing in The Battle of Endor. His comm-unit designation was Grey Four. he screams out "I'm hit!" after two TIE Fighters shoot him from behind, causing his Y-Wing to crash into a Star Destroyer and killing him instantly. Coincidentally the crash destroyed a vital power regulator in the Star Destroyer, ultimately leading to its destruction. It's the Star Destroyer seen blowing up when Admiral Akbar orders all fire to be concentrated on the Super Star Destroyer Executor. Decipher identified him as J'ef Hsu on his card in the Death Star II series.

K-3PO

K-3PO, or Kay-Threepio, was a protocol droid present at the Hoth base, branded by command insignia. He was used by the Rebel Alliance. His life ended when he was smashed apart in the invasion of Hoth.

He was briefly shown in the background at the Hoth base in "The Empire Strikes Back".

Lobot (born 38 BBY) is a cyborg and assistant to Lando Calrissian in the administration of Cloud City. He was the son of a slaver and then a slave himself. At the age of fifteen, space pirates killed his father and captured him. Two years later he escaped, and became a Minister to Younglings. After the fall of the Republic, he fled to Cloud City where he was a thief until he was caught. However, then-Baroness Administrator Ellisa Shallence decided to give the young man a choice: become the city's first computer liaison or be incarcerated. He chose the former. He was then fitted with a cyborg implant that wrapped around the back of his head. His brain is connected to a computer which, while allowing him to communicate directly with the city's central computer core, renders him seemingly mute. This is actually a conscious decision on Lobot's part, as he feels "direct input is more efficient" (see Before the Storm, book 1 of the Black Fleet series). Eventually, a young smuggler named Lando Calrissian won Cloud City from then-Baron Administrator Raynor in a sabacc game. During Calrissian's administration, Lobot saved Lando's life (and career) when a rogue droid named EV-9D9 planted bombs throughout the city. He also stayed behind after Lando (and his new Rebel friends) fled when the Empire took over the city. Lobot is shown in the Robot Chicken Star Wars tribute, dancing around Cloud City's inner hallways to the Meco disco remix of the Star Wars theme.

Mothma, Mon

Commander Narra

Commander Narra was the Commander of Rogue Squadron before the Battle of Hoth. The pilots of the X-wing fighter group Renegade Flight called him "The Boss" during the Battle of Yavin. After Red Leader Garven Dreis was killed in the attack on the Death Star, Narra assumed the title of commander. He was also the Leader of Renegade Flight which shortly before the Battle of Hoth escorted and protected a Rebel Alliance convoy that was transporting much needed supplies to Echo Base on Hoth. The Rebel convoy and its fighter escort(lead by Narra a.k.a Renegade Leader) was near Derra IV when they were suddenly attacked by several squadrons of TIE fighters. The convoy and its escort, Renegade Flight were annihilated. After Narra's death during the massacre at Derra IV, Luke Skywalker assumed the rank of Commander shortly before the Battle of Hoth. K-3PO, the white protocol droid seen in the command center in Echo Base belonged to the late Commander Narra. Narra appears in the radio dramatization of . Originally from Alderaan, her mother was a choreographer for Alderaan's premier ballet company and her father an aerospace engineer. Jan was taught both professions by her parents. She soon became an operative for the Rebel Alliance, and was captured during a mission aboard the "Star of Empire". There she met Kyle Katarn, who served as an Imperial Trooper. She revealed that the Empire was responsible for the death of his father, and established a relationship with Kyle. He then saved her when she was captured and imprisoned, and agreed to defect.

Jan met with Mon Mothma and persuaded her to hire Kyle as a mercenary and commando. Mothma agreed, and allowed him to become a mercenary for the Rebellion, and Jan served as the pilot of their starship, the "Moldy Crow". She became one of the few people Kyle trusted, and always relied on her to save him from dangerous situations. During their adventures, Jan was captured by Jabba the Hutt and held as a bargaining chip against the Alliance, until she was again rescued by Kyle.

In "", Jan accompanied Kyle again on their quest for the Valley of the Jedi, but was captured by Jerec. He asked Kyle to execute her, following a brief descent into the dark side. When playing for the light side, which is documented to be the canon course of events, Kyle refuses. When Jerec tries to kill him, Kyle retaliates and kills him. The "dark side" ending sees Jan dying, and Kyle being installed as the new Emperor, while taking on the powers of the Valley of the Jedi.

In "" Katarn is a mercenary once again, and Jan, who becomes his love interest, pilots their ship, the "Raven's Claw". Jan is captured (once again) by Desann and Tavion, who pretends to kill her in order to call upon Kyle's hatred. After seeing this "mock" execution, Kyle returns to Luke Skywalker, who bestows upon him his lightsaber once his trials are completed. Jan and Kyle are reunited, however, and Desann is killed.

The exact state of their relationship after "Jedi Outcast" is unknown, but Kyle presumably gave it up for his service to the New Republic and the Jedi. In a dialogue with Jaden Korr on Corellia (""), Kyle mentions that he and Jan are still keeping in touch and meeting each other, although it is also possible that he refers to some past event. However, when Katarn disappeared after investigating rumors of the reemergence of the Sith, Jan Ors, along with Jaden Korr and a group of heroes, quickly went out searching for him.

During the Yuuzhan Vong crisis, Jan took over the Alpha Blue intelligence agency from the retiring Admiral Drayson. It was at this time that Alpha Blue began developing the biological weapon Alpha Red to combat the Vong.

Jan's right hand is mechanical, reminiscent of both Anakin and Luke Skywalker.

Porkins, Jek Tono

Pilot Red Six of the Rebel Alliance's Red Squadron during the Battle of Yavin, Jek Tono Porkins was the first Rebel pilot shown to die during that battle. He earned the nicknames "Belly Runner" and "Bacon Slab" as well as the nickname "Piggy" (a name passed on to the Gamorrean pilot Voort SaBinring of the Wraith Squadron), for his girth as well as his skill as a pilot. Jek, like so many others, gained experience flying in the cockpit of a T-16 Skyhopper.

He was a member of the Y-wing Squadron Tierfon Yellow Aces with Wes Janson. When Janson was down with a seemingly ill-timed case of Hesken Fever, Jek took his place in Red Squadron and transferred to Yavin 4, where he died when his ship malfunctioned while he and Biggs were attacking the gun towers. One of the towers exploded, and Porkins' fighter was hit by an EM pulse from the explosion, knocking out several of his instruments. Although his ship's stabilizers were damaged and his weight threw off the balance of the ship, Porkins refused to pull out of the fight. A laser cannon battery that he missed (owing to his tracking instruments not working, being jammed by trying to balance the ship) soon locked onto him and shot his fighter down. Porkins was the only Rebel to fall to the Death Star's fixed guns, which were unable to keep up with the other, fully-functioning Rebel ships.

Qrygg, Ooryl

Ooryl Qrygg is the wingmate of Corran Horn in the "" series of novels. He is Gand. Through most of the series, Ooryl commonly refers to himself in the third person, as is the Gand custom of name reduction, but once he makes a name for himself, he begins to refer to himself as "I" and "me". He was involved in the battles of Hensara III and Chorax. Gands require only a fraction of sleep that humans do, therefore he was wide awake when stormtroopers struck Rogue Squadron's secret base on Talasea. He and Corran Horn alerted the other Rogues and the fight began. Qrygg led a strike team in the successful mission at Vladet, but also took part in the disastrous first mission to Borleias in which his X-Wing was destroyed. Ooryl ejected in time but his right arm below the elbow was severed by a piece of shrapnel from his starfighter's S-foils. Fortunately, his arm regenerated in time for him to participate in the Squadron's covert operations on Coruscant and was vital to its success. After his group gained access to Subsidiary Computer Center Number Four, they were unable to enter for it was flooded with Imperial nerve gas Fex-M3d. However, because Gands do not breathe oxygen he was able to access the room and retrieve gas masks inside allowing the others to follow. From there they were able to realign the OSETS (Orbital Solar Energy Transfer Satellite) that caused the nearby reservoir to boil off causing thunderstorms, and helped bring down the planet's defense shields. The Elders of Gands sent three "ruetsavii" to chronicle his actions. Eventually, he was declared a "janwuine" for his heroism at Thyferra, granting him the right to refer to himself in first person "I" (a true honor among the Gand). He often assumed Wedge Antilles and Wes Janson to be closer than what everyone else thought. He appears in the books of the "X-Wing" series written by Michael Stackpole.

Ralter, Dack

Dack Ralter was born on the penal colony of Kalist VI, though he escaped at the age of seventeen with the aid of an imprisoned Rebel pilot named Breg. Despite his lack of experience, he flew a stolen ship to Tierfon Base, a small Rebel starfighter outpost. This act of heroism landed him a position in Wedge Antilles' Rogue Squadron.

Ralter served as Luke Skywalker's gunner during the Battle of Hoth in "". During the battle, a stray blast from an AT-AT cannon hit the T-47 rear, killing Ralter instantly. Despite rumors that he'd actually gotten out of the snowspeeder before the AT-AT crushed it; it has been denounced and the official story is that he was killed.

General Carlist Rieekan is a fictional character from the "Star Wars" universe. He was seen in "The Empire Strikes Back", in which he was portrayed by Bruce Boa.

Biography

A native of Alderaan, Rieekan was inspecting satellites near its sister world Delaya when he saw his homeworld explode under the Death Star's superlaser. He joined the Rebel Alliance and commanded Echo Base during the Battle of Hoth; it was he who gave the final evacuation order, only barely getting out before the Empire seized the base. Later, the general served as Leia Organa Solo's second-in-command on the New Republic Council and took over in her absence, such as when she disappeared during the trouble on Nam Chorios. Rieekan survived an attempted poisoning, which was intended to throw the New Republic into chaos. He then became the director of New Republic Intelligence and decided to terminate Colonel Pakkpekatt's pursuit of the mysterious ghost ship that carried Lando Calrissian, his aide Lobot, C-3PO and R2-D2 as hostages. However, he did allow Pakkpekatt to take Calrissian's ship (the "Lady Luck"), Luke Skywalker, and three volunteers to search for the ship.

During the Yuuzhan Vong invasion he came out of retirement to serve as Commander of Coruscant's Planetary Defence Force.

While Horton Salm (born 36 BBY) was a minor character in the movies, he made several appearances in Michael Stackpole's novels. Salm was a Y-wing pilot in the Battle of Endor. He was forty years old at the time, and was leader of "Aggressor" squadron.

He is seen in "Return of the Jedi" for a single shot, in the cockpit of his Y-wing at the start of the Battle of Endor. He survived the battle, and is eventually promoted to the rank of general. He was a colonel during the battle.

In the "" novels, Horton Salm was in charge of Defender Wing, although not as a pilot. By the time of the novels, Salm was far too old to fly in combat; even before the battle of Endor he was into his forties. Salm knew that the battle of Endor would be his last, and succeeded in convincing the Rebel leadership to let him fly. Salm repeatedly ran into the members of Rogue Squadron, and he did not get along very well with Wedge Antilles, the squadron's leader. Salm and Antilles reconciled after the disastrous Battle of Borleias, when Salm and his Y-wing pilots defied an order to withdraw by Salm's long-time rival, General Laryn Kre'fey, and provided vital assistance to Rogue Squadron. Salm, however, insisted that Antilles should report him to Admiral Ackbar for disobeying orders.

It is said that his love for the Y-Wing and his high rank in the New Republic fleet helped keep the Y-Wing from being decommissioned early on. Thanks to his inervention the Y-Wing went on to serve in the New Republic fleet for 80 more years.

ei'lar, Asyr

Asyr Sei'lar was a Bothan member of Rogue Squadron. She joined the squadron after assisting them in their efforts to claim Coruscant from the Empire.

She was romantically involved with Gavin Darklighter, and planned to settle down with him and adopt children, but her choices were met with dissaproval by Bothan politician Borsk Fey'lya, due to Darklighter being human.

During Ysanne Isard's return, Sei'lar was presumed killed at Distna, but in fact survived, and with the help of Booster Terrik, decided to go undercover to work towards changes in Bothan society. She set up schools on numerous Bothan outpost worlds, and is believed by fans to be responsible for the training of Admiral Traest Kre'fey.

Zev Senesca was born on the Kestic station near the Bestine System. Senesca's parents were free traders who supplied arms to the Rebel Alliance. Once he came of age, he joined the Rebellion, but made the mistake of informing a "friend" about his ties to the Alliance; shortly thereafter, the Imperial Star Destroyer "Merciless" destroyed Kestic Station. His parents were killed in the attack.

Senesca joined Rogue Squadron and flew as Rogue Two while stationed on Hoth. He rescued Luke Skywalker and Han Solo after the two had gone missing during a blizzard. Senesca was killed in action when his snowspeeder was destroyed by an AT-AT during the Battle of Hoth. imm, Merrick

Captain Merrick Simm (a.k.a Blue Leader) was the commander of Blue Wing, a starfighter group at the Battle of Endor that consisted of X-wings and B-Wings. His squadron lead an attack on an Imperial communications ship. However, Simm was killed in the explosion that destroyed the ship. The scene appears only in the novelization of Return of The Jedi and did not appear in the movie.

Willard, Vanden

A native of Alderaan, General Vanden Willard was a close friend of Senator Bail Organa who joined the Rebellion, becoming one of its top generals. When he heard about Alderaan's destruction, Willard feared the worst for Princess Leia, but was relieved when she arrived safely on Yavin IV with the Death Star plans. He was among the leaders of the rebel forces at Massassi base, serving under Jan Dodonna. General Willard later helped General Dodonna coordinate the Battle of Yavin. he was formerly the HQ commander of the Suolriep sector. He aided Viceroy Bail Organa and Princess Leia by working as a spy until the Senate disbanded shortly before the Battle of Yavin.
