Nelson's Spiny Pocket Mouse (Heteromys nelsoni) is a species of rodent in the Heteromyidae family. It is endemic to Mexico and Guatemala. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
