Geographic range

It is found in Bulgaria, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestinian Territory, Syria, and Turkey.

Habitat

Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rocky areas, arable land, pastureland, plantations , and rural gardens.

Taxonomy

The genus Platyceps includes nine[2] to 14[1] recognized species.
