Michael Guy (born April 6, 1961), is an American musician who is the former lead guitarist of the band House of Lords.^[1]

Musical career

After playing Hollywood clubs with such bands as Hurricane, Shark Island, Fire, and Badd Boyz he worked on a movie soundtrack project with Dio before replacing guitarist Lanny Cordola in House of Lords.^[2][3] The album Sahara featured Michael as the lead guitarist and was produced by Andy Johns for Gene Simmons' record label.^[4] After being featured in MTV videos including "Can't Find My Way Home"^[5] and "Remember My Name",^[6] directed by Transformers director Michael Bay, Guy was joined by guitarist Jake E. Lee in Bourgeois Pigs.^[7] During the Bourgeois Pigs project in 2005, Guy married; he was expecting his first child and decided to give up music^[7] to pursue his SEO business.^{[citation needed]}

Guy has authored and coauthored many songs during his career.

He continued writing songs over the years, including: "Filthy Rich",^[12] "Forever nights",^[13] "Met you",^[14] "Prairie fire",^[15] and "Workingman's Prayer".^[16]

The Shortino/Badd Boyz album It's About Time released in 1997 on Avex Trax and again in 1998 on Pulse^[17] includes 2 tracks composed by Guy, "Leave It to the Law" and "No, No Nikki".^[18]
