Musical career
After playing Hollywood clubs with such bands as Hurricane, Shark Island, Fire, and Badd Boyz he worked on a movie soundtrack project with Dio before replacing guitarist Lanny Cordola in House of Lords.[2][3] The album Sahara featured Michael as the lead guitarist and was produced by Andy Johns for Gene Simmons' record label.[4] After being featured in MTV videos including "Can't Find My Way Home"[5] and "Remember My Name",[6] directed by Transformers director Michael Bay, Guy was joined by guitarist Jake E. Lee in Bourgeois Pigs.[7] During the Bourgeois Pigs project in 2005, Guy married; he was expecting his first child and decided to give up music[7] to pursue his SEO business.[citation needed]

Guy has authored and coauthored many songs during his career.

- In 1995: "Down in the devil's rain".[11]
- In 1996: "The driver", "Mother", "Cool like you", "Da mob still rules".[11]
- In 1997: "If it was up to me", "Falling on your face", "In the days man made God".[11]
He continued writing songs over the years, including: "Filthy Rich",[12] "Forever nights",[13] "Met you",[14] "Prairie fire",[15] and "Workingman's Prayer".[16]
The Shortino/Badd Boyz album It's About Time released in 1997 on Avex Trax and again in 1998 on Pulse[17] includes 2 tracks composed by Guy, "Leave It to the Law" and "No, No Nikki".[18]
