The Chestnut-throated Seedeater (Sporophila telasco) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, swamps, sandy shores, and heavily degraded former forest.
