and see textThe Band-tailed Oropendola (Ocyalus latirostris) is a species of bird in the Icteridae family. It is in the genus Ocyalus, usually considered monotypic,[citation needed] though the Casqued Oropendola might also be included herein. It is found at low densities in the western Amazon in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
