The Brazilian Horned Frog (Ceratophrys aurita) is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family.[1] It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, and ponds. It is threatened by habitat loss, despite this they are sometimes kept as pets.[2]
