(Tschudi, 1838)The Hispaniolan Common Treefrog (Osteopilus dominicensis) is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is found in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, swamps, freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, arable land, pastureland, plantations , rural gardens, urban areas, heavily degraded former forest, water storage areas, ponds, irrigated land, seasonally flooded agricultural land, and canals and ditches.
