Chaunus pombali is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
