Chaunus poeppigii is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in Bolivia and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, arable land, and pastureland.
