(Dobson, 1878)The Australian Myotis (Myotis australis) is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family. It is found only in Australia. The validity of this species is doubtful; it is known from a single specimen, supposedly from New South Wales, that may be mislabelled or a vagrant Myotis muricola or Myotis ater.
