Midnight Horror School (Japanese: ミッドナイトホラースクール) is an Japanese computer-generated anime series created by Naomi Iwata (who also created Pecola), and produced by Milky Cartoon. The series began in 2002, and airs on the satellite network Animax in Asia, Australia and Europe, and Etc...TV y Liv TV in Chile.

Characters and setting
The school has 26 students with each name of them beginning with a letter of the alphabet in order and a color, 3 teachers, 3 classrooms, a library, a cafeteria, a music room, a playroom, a fountain, a skeleton playground, a graveyard and several school staff.
Students
- Ampoo: A quiet and plug boy. Sometimes, he always makes a fuss. His color is purple.
- Borocca: A happy boy with his head shaped like a umbrella. When he gets excited, His umbrella head opens and closes. His color is aqua.
- Chaps: A half melted candy girl. When she does too many things, she melts. Her color is light green.
- Docky: A loner that wears a firefighter hat with the number 13 on his head. Girls can look at him with a curious eye. His color is red.
- Enton: A boy with his head shaped like a chimney and is always upset. When he gets excited, he puffs smoke, which annoys everyone. His color is brown.
- Fonton: A boy who always leaks. He is a maniacal note-talker. His color is light yellow.
- Genie: A boy who loves to study. He is smart, his head is shaped like a book and wears glasses. His color is green.
- Hikky: A two-sided pencil stub boy. He really loves to draw. He has 2 colors: Red and dark blue.
- Juno: A flowerpot girl who always carries around a man-eating plant on her head. She also has a big sister and when she gets angry, the man-eating plant on her head gets violent. She has 2 colors: Salmon pink and dark green.
- Liddy: A keyboard instrument girl who is strong-minded, outgrowing and popular. She plays the organ and is very good at music. She has 2 colors: Pink and red.
- Magnero: A magnet boy who always has a scrap metal stuck to him. He likes to build machines and collect magnetite sand. His color is gray.
- Noisy: A microphone girl. She also has a show called "Midnight Eye". Her color is light purple.
- Onpoo: A musical note girl. She loves music and sings very great. Her color is aqua.
- Piranin: A half-fish boy who is always ill. He enjoys his passion floating in the fountain. He usually stays in the back of places away from others. His color is grayish green.
- Rosso: A fire hydrant boy. He loves to clean up things. His color is red.
- Spimon: A monkey boy with speakers for ears. He likes broadcasting things. He has 2 colors: Light green and yellow.
- Tubee: A paint tube boy. He is a trouble maker who always drips paint everywhere. He has 2 colors: White and purple.
- Usop: A spray paint boy. He is a liar and has a strong dislike. His color is beige.
- Vincent: A quiet bottle-head boy. His head is full of jellybeans and likes to read. He also enjoys his passion daydreaming. His color is yellow.
- Watt: A light bulb boy. His light burns out when given too strong an electrical charge. He has 2 colors: White and blue.
- Mr. X: A transfer student with a paper bag on its head. It doesn't talk much and is even a boy or a girl. Its color is tan. From Mr. X's appearance, one might assume that this character is actually Pecola wearing a bag on his head.
- Yumyum: A rotten banana boy. The other students hate when he smells and can summon and control flies. His color is yellow.
- Zobie: A zombie boy. He also has a coffin, which could be found while taking a break. His color is blue.
School staff
- Old Owl Sage: A wise old owl who knows everything about the school. He lives in a birdcage by the fountain.
- Lure the Fisherman: A lizard-skeleton fisherman and in charge of the elevators of the school. He always sleeps.
- Mr. Showtime: A hologram master of the ceremonies. He has a catchphrase that is, "It's show time!"
- Eddy the Skeleton Dragon: a bone dragon used as a jungle gym and called "Bone Hill" by the students. Eddy's skull is also used for secret meetings.
- Johnny Crow: A crow-skeleton. He always starts rumors.
- Screwsnail (Nejimakitsumuri): A freak-skeleton who always winds the clock on the second floor. He is always slow.
- Mr. Salaman: A salamander-skeleton and one of the 3 teachers. He is affectionate and moody. His students love him and is also a nag.
- Mr. Tigerl: A saber tooth tiger-skeleton and one of the 3 teachers. He also has a roar that scares people. He is very sensitive and always reads romance novels.
- Ms. Peginand: A penguin-skeleton and one of the 3 teachers. She also feels a strong rivalry.
- The Principal: The principal of the school. No one knows what he looks like and where he is.
Classes
- The Yellow Lizard Class: One of the 3 classes in the school. The class's teacher is Mr. Salaman and its students are Piranin, Hikky, Liddy, Spimon, Kabo, Tubee, Docky, Borocca and Zobie.
- The Blue Spider Class: One of the 3 classes in the school. The class's teacher is Mr. Tigerl and its students are Chaps, Ampoo, Juno, Inky, Watt, Fonton, Usop, Magnero and Mr. X.
- The Pink Toad Class: One of the 3 classes in the school. The class's teacher is Ms. Peginand and its students are Rosso, Noisy, Genie, Onpoo, Quicky, Vincent, Enton and Yumyum.
