The Midnight Library is a series of children's short story collections in the genre of horror fiction. The author is variously given as Damien Graves (US) and Nick Shadow (UK). The first, Voices, was published in 2005. The typical format is three stories per book. There have also been omnibus editions.[1]

- Voices: Katie has a special power to hear voice in her head of the future but she does not know what trouble they can lead her to.
- Cat Lady: Chloe never quite believed her friends stories about cat lady but when a dare goes terribly wrong,she finds out the truth is even more terrifying then anyone has ever imagined.
- Liar: Lauren is shy she just wants a friend but she created a monster called Jennifer accidentally when trouble shoots.
- Shut Your Mouth: Louise and her mate love getting sweets from Mr Webster but it turns out to be bad for their health.
- I Can See You: Michael is moving into the countryside he find out the dark is dangerous.
- Dream Demon: Alfie does not want to sleep at Gran Dorry's house, but especially not in the room of his dead uncle Martin. But when he has dreams which are coming real, he doesn't want to sleep at all.
- Blood and Sand: John and his sister Sarah are on their annual vacation when they decide to enter the sand sculpture contest. They are puzzled as they discover the reason the Sandman's sculptures always like so real.
- End Game: Simon is a computer fanatic but when he gets a new computer game, it's not afraid to mess with people's lives.
- No Escape: Emma and her friends are on a school trip but they then find themselves on a terrifying trip back in time.
- The Catch (US title: The Deadly Catch): A canoeing trip turns dangerous.
- The Whisperer: Rachael's newspaper column is beginning to predict the future, Jake is getting older rather faster than is desirable, and Samantha finds that there are worse things than vampires.
- Blind Witness: Liam starts having visions after losing his sight, Becky becomes involved with a sinister fashion show, and a group of friends explore a wax museum.
