Naidupet or Naidupeta or Nayudupeta or Naydupet(Telugu: నాయుడుపేట) is a town and a Mandal in Nellore district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1][2]

Geography
The eastern wing of Golden Quadrilateral National Highway (NH5) passes through the outskirts of the town. It is located on the banks of the Swarnamukhi river. This place is junction to Chennai, Venkatagiri, Nellore, Mallam and Tirupathi. From here, Chennai is about 106 km by road 66 km to Tirupathi, 35 km from Venkatagiri, 68 km from Nellore. People can get down at Naidupet railway station and from there lot of buses to Tirupathi.
Telugu is the most common language that is spoken in Naidupet. Besides Telugu the other prominent languages that are spoken in the region are Urdu and Tamil.
State Bank of India located in the Naidupeta town provides the agriculture services to the areas in and around Naidupeta, villages like Vinnamala, Menakuru, Koneti Raju Palem, Kanur Raju Palem, Bheemavaram, Ellasiri, Ekasiri, Aravaperimidi, Puderu,Pudur, Mallam, Molakalpudi, Eswaravaka, etc. Recently the branch started providing the online facilities to the 14000 customer base including ATM services.

A beautiful river named Swarnamukhi passes through this place.
Sankranthi[Pongal] festival is most famous here. After Sankranthi day, people will go to Banks of Swarnamukhi river and they celebrate kite festival, popularly known as Yeti pandaga. The Celebrations will be continued till 3 days starting from the Sankranthi Day.Urusu is also a famous festival in Naidupet, people from all around Nellore district will visit this place. People from all religions celebrate this festival which stands for "Unity in Diversity" of Indian Culture.
