Trafford College is a further education college in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England.

It was formed with the merger of North Trafford College and South Trafford College in 2007. The college has four branches. The Altrincham branch 53°24′17″N 2°20′57″W / 53.4048°N 2.3493°W / 53.4048; -2.3493Coordinates: 53°24′17″N 2°20′57″W / 53.4048°N 2.3493°W / 53.4048; -2.3493, formerly known as South Trafford College, the Talbot Road branch, formerly known as North Trafford College, and also a technology centre and a music centre. The college has a very high profile and on 14th May 2007, prime minister Tony Blair visited the Altrincham branch.^[1][2][3]

In the 2009 Ofsted College inspections Trafford College was graded as Outstanding in five areas.^[4]

Notable alumni

A number of celebrities from Manchester have attended Trafford College. Some of the more famous alumni include Ian Brown and Jason Orange who returned to do his A-levels at the Altrincham campus after Take That first split.^[5]
