Jason Orange (born Jason Thomas Orange, 10 July 1970, Wythenshawe, Manchester, England) is an English singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. He was a founding member of the successful English boyband Take That during the early-mid 1990s and again in the mid 2000s. Orange's first experience with fame came when his breakdancing skills(he was a member of the Manchester based Street Machine crew [http://www.guardian.co.uk/stage/2006/oct/06/dance.popandrock I bet you looked good on the dancefloor] ) landed him a role "The Hitman and Her".

After the break-up of Take That, Orange studied acting. He played DJ Brent Moyer in Lynda La Plantes Killer Net in 1998, which was shown on Channel 4 and also starred Paul Bettany. In 1999, he performed in "Gob" by Jim Kenworth at the The King's Head Theatre in London. Orange is currently back with the re-formed Take That, who released a new album "Beautiful World" on 27 November 2006. During the first round of Take That, Orange was best known for his skills as a dancer and was never given lead vocals on any of the songs. He also performed the song on the Beautiful World Tour, and on the tour's opening night in Belfast he apologised if it was "pitchy" he admitted, "..it took me 17 years to do that".

Orange often appears on stage playing the guitar. He picked up the guitar for the first time during the making of Take That`s No.1 Hit single Babe back in 1993. Orange still enjoys playing the guitar on stage, and brought it with him on the band's two recent tours; "The Ultimate Tour" (2006) and "The Beautiful World Tour" (2007).

He claims to have not drunk alcohol for four years, and is very conscious of his impact on the environment.
