He told the crowd how bad he felt about sitting backstage, watching the show and not being able to perform on stage with his bandmates. But he reassured the fans that he would recover as soon as he could, as he told them that he was a little worried how Take That "..were doing so well as a 3-piece..". Howard was also up for giving the crowd a little surprise while walking off stage and not more than surprised the rest of Take That themselves: While turning his back to the crowd; Howard revealed that he had no clothes underneath his hospital cloak, and showed off his bare bum to the crowd, resulting in a massive cheer from both the band and the audience. Howard also once dressed up in a drag costume during one of the shows before returning to the stage for the rest of the Beautiful World Tour.
