Barrow-in-Furness Sixth Form College is located in the outskirts of
Barrow-in-Furness BarrowSixth Form College is one of the few purpose-built sixth form colleges in the country and unique withinCumbria . The buildings have been specially designed for students over the age of sixteen and include facilities for physically disabled students. A new wing and extensive alterations including a new library have recently been built, and there are further extensions planned. The college primarily educates students within the age range of 16-18 years (around 900 enroled), as well as courses for adult learners.
