Metham is a hamlet in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, it forms part of the civil parish of Laxton. It is situated approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Goole and 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Blacktoft. It lies 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north of the River Ouse, not far from where it flows into the River Trent and becomes the Humber.
