The commune includes six villages:

  • Cogealac (historical names: Domneşti, Turkish: Kocalak)
  • Gura Dobrogei (historical names: Câvârgic, Turkish: Kıvırcık)
  • Râmnicu de Jos
  • Râmnicu de Sus
  • Tariverde (historical name: Dorotea)
