"Karma" is an R&Bhip hop soulclassical song written by Kerry Brothers, Jr., Taneisha Smith, and American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys for Keys' second studio album, "The Diary of Alicia Keys" (2003). Released as the album's fourth and final single in October 2004 (see 2004 in music), it peaked at number twenty on the U.S. "Billboard" Hot 100 and number seventeen on the "Billboard" Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart—the album's only single not to top a "Billboard" chart. A mashup of the song with Stevie Wonder's 1972 hit "Superstition" entitled "Karmastition", produced by Go Home Productions, exists.

Music video

The music video for "Karma", directed by Chris Robinson and Keys herself, had parts shot in New York City and at Casa de Campo resort's Altos de Chavón amphitheatre, in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
