Dimitris Brinias (born 2 March 1984 in Adelaide, South Australia) is a Greek-Australian football (soccer) player, currently signed as a goalkeeper with White City Woodville. He is 6 ft 2 in / 1.88 m tall and weighs 13 st 10 lb / 192 lb / 87 kg. In addition to being called up to the squad for the and Greek Under-19 international team and being capped for the Australian Under-17 team, Brinias has played for several European clubs since he left Australia.

While playing for the A.F.C. Bournemouth youth team in England, Brinias signed a one-year contract with Greek Super League club Panathinaikos FC, after writing to the team and being invited to Greece for trials.[1] He played for Pana's third division feeder team, Marko, for the 2002-03 season, before returning to Australia to play for Wollongong Wolves in the New South Wales Premier League.[2]

After a spell with Cyprus third division club Frenaros FC 2000, Brinias spent several months (August to October 2006) playing for Welsh club Connah's Quay Nomads F.C. as a replacement for injured goalkeeper Paul Smith, making his debut in the Nomads' 2–1 victory over Newtown.[3] He went back to Cyprus to play for AOAN Agia Napa on 12 October,[4] and then returned to Wales where he made one appearance for Bangor City.[5]

On 22 January 2007, Irish Premier League club Galway United F.C. announced that Brinias has signed with them. He made his debut for Galway on 9 March in a match against Sligo Rovers F.C., United lost the match 2–0.[6] He was released from his contract with Galway United, having only played one match, and later signed for Olympos Xylofagou in Cyprus. In 2008 he signed for White City Woodville.
