Masku (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈmɑsku]) is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Finland Proper region. The municipality, which is located just north of Turku, has a population of 9,470 (31 January 2011)[2] and covers an area of 204.11 square kilometres (78.81 sq mi) of which 29.21 km2 (11.28 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 54.15 inhabitants per square kilometre (140.2 /sq mi).

The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The municipality has previously also been known as "Masko" in Swedish documents, but is today referred to as "Masku" also in Swedish.[6]

On January 1, 2009 the municipalities of Askainen and Lemu were consolidated with Masku.

The most famous resident of Masku is Finnish tennis player Jarkko Nieminen.
