Väståboland (Swedish), or Länsi-Turunmaa in Finnish, is a new Finnish city to be created January 1, 2009 in Finland Proper, when the municipalities of Pargas, Nagu, Korpo, Houtskär and Iniö are united into a single city. Its population will be almost 15,400 of which 59 per cent speak Swedish as their native language.
