State Route 11 runs the entire length of the U.S. state of Georgia. The route begins at the Florida state line south of Statenville. The route travels north cosigned with U.S. 129 through Statenville, Lakeland, Nashville, Ocilla, Fitzgerald, and Abbeville, before arriving in Hawkinsville. In Hawkinsville, S.R. 11 departs U.S. 129 and cosigns with U.S. 341 northwest to Perry, where S.R. 11 departs and cosigns with U.S. 41, and eventually, U.S. 129 again, north to Macon. State Route 11 leaves Macon cosigned with U.S. 129 and S.R. 22. In Gray, S.R. 11 departs, and travels north. In Jefferson, the route cosigns again with U.S. 129. The two routes continue north, passing through Gainesville. Further north, S.R. 11 and U.S. 129 are joined by U.S. 19, the three routes climb over and descend the mountains, and continue north to the North Carolina state line, where S.R. 11 meets its northern terminus.
