Klinga, Norway

Klinga is a former municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway.

The municipality of Namsos herred was split into the two new municipalities of Klinga and Vemundvik January 1, 1891. At that time Klinga had a population of 1,387.

Klinga and Vemundvik were both (together with Otterøy) merged with the city of Namsos January 1, 1964. Prior to the merger Klinga had a population of 2,482.
