Marivan County (Persian: شهرستان مریوان) is a county in Kordestan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Marivan. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 150,926, in 35,498 families.[1] The county is subdivided into three districts: the Central District, Khavumyrabad District, and Sarshiv District. The county has three cities: Marivan, Kani Dinar, and Chenareh.
