Motion in the Ocean is the third studio album by English pop rock band McFly and was released in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2006. The first single from the album, "Don't Stop Me Now/Please, Please", was released on 17 July 2006 in the UK and charted at number one in the UK Singles Chart. The album also includes the second single, "Star Girl" which also went to number one in the UK singles charts selling more than 58,000 copies in its first week. The third single from the album, "Sorry's Not Good Enough/Friday Night", was released on 18 December 2006, and reached number three in the Christmas charts. The double A side of "Baby's Coming Back/Transylvania" also reached number one. The band released a special edition of the album with the full length Wembley show from the Motion in The Ocean Tour 2006 onto DVD and Baby's Coming Back, for a similar price to the original. This version of the album was released on 14 May and reached number fourteen on the official album chart, selling 11,256 copies. Motion in the Ocean has sold more than 200,000 copies since its release. The album was certified as Gold in the UK and was recorded in the infamous Grouse Lodge recording studio in Westmeath, Ireland. We Are The Young McFly placed a early demo version of this song on the Star Girl Single. It has been altered slightly with more piano. Star Girl was released on the 23rd October 2006 and went to number one in the UK. Please Please released as the first song from Motion In The Ocean with double a side cover 'Dont Stop me Now' for Sport Relief. McFly makes some obvious references in this song to the actress Lindsay Lohan, who drummer Harry Judd met on the set of Lohan's movie Just My Luck, where McFly made an appearance. Lohan is not mentioned specifically, but the girl in the song has green eyes, red hair, and is named Lindsay. Also, in the video the name tag on the nurse says "Lindsay Allbright" - Lohan's character in Just My Luck was named "Ashley Allbright." The band's official position, as stated in the album notes, is that the song is not about Lohan. Sorry's Not Good Enough 3rd Single from MITO.
