Plesetsky District

Plesetsky District ( _ru. Плесе́цкий райо́н) is a district (raion) in Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia, located to the west of the oblast. Its administrative center is the urban-type settlement of Plesetsk. District's population: 58,257 (2002 Census); 83,357 (1989 Census).

Plesetsky District is home to Bauxite extraction industry.

Plesetsk Cosmodrome is located on the district's territory.
