MELWAY=Murchison East is a railway station on the Goulburn Valley railway that serves the town of Murchison, Victoria,
Australia . The station is served byV/Line passenger trains on the Shepparton Line.The station opened as Murchison at the same time as the railway from Mangalore to Shepparton on January 13 1880, being renamed to Murchison East in September 1890.cite book
