Nikolay Mikhaylovich Rubtsov (Russian: Николай Михайлович Рубцов; 3 January 1936, Yemetsk – 19 January 1971, Vologda) was a Russian poet[1].
He was killed by the woman with whom he spent the last one and a half years of his life.
Asteroid 4286 Rubtsov was named after him.
