Interstates • U.S. Routes • State Routes← SR 347 SR 349 → State Route 348 is an east–west state highway in the south central portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Its western terminus is at State Route 125 approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) east of West Union, and its eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 23 just north of Lucasville – this is also the western terminus of State Route 728.
History
- 1935 – Original route certified; its original eastern terminus was at its intersection with State Route 73 at Otway[2].
- 1939 – Extended east to its current terminus via a previously unnumbered road from Otway to State Route 104 1-mile (1.6 km) east of Lucasville, and along the former State Route 240 from State Route 104 to U.S. Route 23 just north of Lucasville[2].
