MidasWWW Developer(s) Tony Johnson[1] Initial release 16 November 1992[2] Operating system UNIX/VMS Available in EN Type Web browser MidasWWW was one of the earliest web browsers, developed at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC).[1] It ran under Unix[1] and VMS. The last release was version 2.2.
