Electoral district of Hastings
- Electoral district of Hastings
The Electoral district of Hastings is an electorate of the Victorian Legislative Assembly. It was created prior to the 2002 election due to population increases in Melbourne's outer south east. It covers Hastings, Tooradin, Somerville, Cranbourne South and French Island.
Despite having a notional Liberal margin of 7.3%, the seat was narrowly won at the 2002 election by Rosy Buchanan of the Labor Party.
At the 2006 Buchanan was defeated by Neale Burgess from the Liberal Party.
