The Only OnesMike Kellie (born Michael Alexander Kellie, 24 March 1947 in Birmingham) is an English drummer. Most notably, he has played in Spooky Tooth and The Only Ones. Kellie has also played with Peter Frampton and in various bands with Chris Wood.
In February 1978, Johnny Thunders moved to London with his family and began playing with a loose revue, dubbed The Living Dead. Kellie became part of the floating line-up that also included ex-Sex Pistols Steve Jones and Paul Cook. That summer Kellie joined the recording sessions for the So Alone album, and he played drums on Thunders' signature song, "You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory".
Apart from his work with the bands with which he has been associated, Kellie has had an extensive career as a supporting musician to the projects of others.[1]
