The Middletown Township Public School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students from kindergarten through twelfth grade from Middletown Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States.

As of the 2008-09 school year, the district's 17 schools had an enrollment of 10,187 students and 773.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.2.[1]

The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[3]

The district consists of two four-year high schools, three middle schools (Grade 6-8), and twelve K-5 elementary schools. Four elementary schools feed into each of the three middle schools. The facilities vary in age, architecture, size, and student population. Schools in the district (with 2008-09 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics[4]) are:

Elementary Schools (K-5)

Middle Schools (6-8)

High Schools (9-12)
