Miguel Reale (born November 11, 1910 in São Bento do Sapucaí and died April 14, 2006 in São Paulo) was a Brazilian jurist, philosopher, academic, politician and poet. Known as one of the most important jurists of Brazil.

Miguel Reale taught philosophy of law at University of São Paulo, the institution from which he later received the title of Professor emeritus. As a scholar, he became well-known in Latin America and in Continental Europe for his works on law and philosophy. Miguel Reale is considered the chief architect of Brazil's current Civil Code.

Miguel Reale served as Secretary of Justice for the state of São Paulo in 1947 and 1963 and twice as rector of the University of São Paulo in 1949 and 1969. He founded the Brazilian Institute of Philosophy in 1949 and the São Paulo-based Inter-American Society of Philosophy in 1954.

His most famous theory in phillosophy of law is tridimensional theory of law, when he analises law in 3 dimensions: fact, value and act.

He was a member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters.
