Sean Hogan is a Canadian country music singer-songwriter.

Biography

Born in Sarnia, Ontario, Hogan attended Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, studying music. According to CMT.com, he "was not exactly taken with the engineering aspects of recording music," but "was considerably interested in the writing of songs and performance of the material."

Also from CMT.com: "His 1996 debut album caught the attention of country radio programmers and listeners across Canada and earned him the first-ever Canadian Country Music Association's (CCMA) independent male artist of the year award. The albums "Hijacked" (1999) and "Late Last Nite" (2001) won two consecutive West Coast Music Awards in 2001 and 2002, each for best country album. In 2003, he won the CCMA's roots artist of the year, the first independent artist to capture the prize and the only nominee without label support."
