Dhikru'llah Khadem

Dhikru'llah Khadem

Dhikru'llah Khadem (Arabic: ذكر الله خادم‎, also transliterated as Zikru'llah, Khádem, and Khadim) (1904 – 1986)[1] was a prominent follower of the Bahá'í Faith, and was appointed by Shoghi Effendi to be a Hand of the Cause in 1952.[2]

He served as treasurer of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Iran for a time,[3] and later became the first Hand of the Cause to move to the Western Hemisphere.

He also travelled around the world for Shoghi Effendi, the Guardian of the Bahá'í Faith, to over 50 countries including Canada, Malaysia and Japan.[4][1] At the Bahá'í Nikko Conference in Nikko, Japan, Dhikru'llah Khadem was the Guardian's representative.[5]
