Mizunami (瑞浪市 Mizunami-shi?) is a city located in the Tōnō region of Gifu, Japan.

As of July 2011, the city has an estimated population of 40,030. The total area is 175.00 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1954.

Mizunami's biggest claim to fame came in 1995, when the largest ceramic plate in the world, as recognised by the Guinness Book of Records, was created by the Inatsu Town Planning Association in the city. It measures 2.8 metres in diameter. [1]
