TNA Turning Point

Turning Point is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the month of December. It originated in 2004 as TNA's second ever monthly pay-per-view event, after TNA Victory Road.

Over the first two years, Turning Point has earned a reputation for having at least one outstanding match on the show that will be in contention for "match of the year" honors. The America's Most Wanted vs. Triple X steel cage match from 2004 and the Sabu vs. Abyss barbed wire match from 2005 both earned "TNA Match of the Year" honors as voted by the fans.

**Sabu pinned Abyss after an Arabian Facebuster with Abyss sandwiched between two barbed wire boards.

**After the contest, Robert Roode sent Eric Young into the ropes for an attack but Eric Young ducked and bailed from the ring heading to the back.
*Christopher Daniels defeated Chris Sabin (w/Jerry Lynn as Special Guest Referee) to retain the TNA X Division Championship (12:27)
**Daniels pinned Sabin after a Best Moonsault Ever.
*A.J. Styles defeated Rhino (7:31)
**Styles pinned Rhino with a roll-up after faking a knee injury.
*The Latin American Exchange (Homicide and Hernandez) (w/Konnan) defeated America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) (w/Gail Kim) in a Flag match (10:42)

**Christopher Daniels defeated Senshi on the December 6 edition of "iMPACT!" with Elix Skipper as the special referee, to win Senshi's briefcase.
**The contents of the cases were revealed on the December 13 edition of "iMPACT!". Petey Williams was awarded a TNA World Heavyweight Championship title shot, B.G. James was awarded a TNA World Tag Team Championship shot, Scott Steiner was awarded a TNA X Division Championship title shot, and Christopher Daniels was given the pink slip.
*Gail Kim defeated Awesome Kong by disqualification to retain the TNA Women's World Championship (8:49)
**Kong was disqualified after shoving referee Andrew Thomas and excessively choking Kim in the corner.
*Abyss and Raven defeated Rellik and Black Reign in a Match of 10,000 Tacks (14:45)
**Abyss pinned Rellik after a Black Hole Slam onto tacks.
**Rhino was originally scheduled to be Abyss' partner, but pulled out due to injury.
*Kaz and Booker T (w/Sharmell) defeated Christian Cage and Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) (15:58)
