New Waltham is a village and civil parish in North East Lincolnshire. It is located just south of Grimsby and Cleethorpes close to the A16 (Louth Road), and is situated between the villages of Waltham and Humberston. Previously part of Waltham parish, the parish of New Waltham was created in 1961. Its population at the 2001 census was 4,557.[1]

The main road is Station Road / Humberston Avenue (B1219), which is named after the former station on the East Lincolnshire railway (from Grimsby to Louth) which went straight through the village. The boundary of North-East Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire (East Lindsey) is only metres from the south part of the village (near the Enfield Primary School), and the Lincolnshire village of Holton le Clay is less than a mile to the south.

New Waltham's population has increased greatly since the year 2000, with many houses being built to cater for the ever expanding population. Many people have moved into the area because of the relatively cheap house prices, and this has shown how market forces work as house prices have more than doubled since 2000. New Waltham has three schools; Enfield Primary School, New Waltham Primary School and the secondary school, Tollbar Business and Enterprise College, which is the largest in the region and between the village and Waltham. The roundabout with the B1219 and A16 is known as the Toll Bar Roundabout.
