The airline ceased most flight operations in February 2006 and filed a Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition on
February 21 ,2006 , but the petition was not immediately accepted by the court and its status and effect are not clear at this time. Lynx Air International . Florida Coastal Airlines is operating to select airports in the Bahamas, (New Bight, Cat Island) (Georgetown, Exuma) (Governours Harbour, Eleuthera) (North Eleuthera, Eleuthera) (Congo Town, Andros Island) from its new base of operations at (Fort Lauderdale International Airport).The carrier is currently operating a fleet of two (2) Cessna 402C aircraft. N425RC and N77FC. The carrier is negotiating for the acquisition of up to two (2) additional Cessna 402C aircraft and two (2) Saab 340A aircraft.
Lynx Air International is handling Florida Coastal Airlines reservations, passenger handling, and cargo handling.Fleet
