History
The station was first opened in 1874.[1] During the 1890s a brick structure was built that still survives today.[1] The station spurned the development of the Township of Oxley, including the first streets and a police station two years later.[1] In 2010 a third platform was added as a precursor to the commissioning of the Springfield rail line.
