Oslo and Akershus University College (of Applied Sciences), Norwegian: Høgskolen i Oslo og Akershus (HiOA) is the largest state university college in Norway, with more than 16,000 students and approx. 1600 employees.[1] OAUC offers the broadest portfolio of professional studies available in Norway.

OAUC was established August 1, 2011 after a merger of Oslo University College and Akershus University College. Most of the school is located in the city centre of Oslo along Pilestredet street and at Kjeller (near Lillestrøm in Akershus County).

The language of instruction is Norwegian, but certain courses are taught in English, both on Bachelor's Degree level, Master's Degree level and to some extent on PhD level.
