Telemark University College

Telemark University College (TUC) (Norwegian: "Høgskolen i Telemark" - HiT) is the fourth largest university college (out of 25) in Norway. The University College has about 5000 students. It is split between four different locations. The campuses are located in , Notodden, Porsgrunn and Rauland.

The university college is organised into four faculties. The Faculty of Arts and Sciences, The Faculty of Arts, Folk Culture and Teacher Education, The Faculty of Health and Social Studies and The Faculty of Technology.

More than 140 studies are offered within the fields of: Engineering, Nursing, Teaching, Culture, Folk Culture, Folk Music, Environmental and health studies, Sports and physical education, Outdoor life, Economics, Computer Science and Languages.

Studies are offered at bachelor and master degree-level. There are also several 1-year programmes available. Most studies are taught in Norwegian, but some programmes are taught in English, mainly master degrees. Telemark University College uses the
