1987 Oceania Club Championship Final

The first Oceania Club Championship was played between Adelaide City and University - Mount Wellington.

The match was played in Hindmarsh Stadium, Adelaide (Australia) at 15 March 1987.

Joe Mullen had opened the scoring for the home side after just 15' minutes, but Witteveen giving the visitors goal after 5 minutes.

In the penalty shoots, the Australian club won and was the first Oceania Club Championship champion.
